Water Districts
Which Water District or Irrigation District did you receive a notice from?
Did you know that San Diego Municipal Water District has 23 member agencies that deliver water in our county? Most are individually referred to as a “water district”, while some are called “irrigation districts”. All of these agencies are subject to the requirements Federal Safe Drinking Water Act, including tracking the annual tests of your backflow prevention assembly.
